Surfing the net has become a lot more easier since wireless internet has come into being, and now Wi-Fi has rightly topped the poll for the greatest technological advance of the last decade, according to a survey.

With 35.5 percent votes, Wi-Fi has beaten Sky+, Sat Navs, iPods and Blackberries to win the poll conducted by a leading gadget magazine.

In the survey by ‘Stuff’ magazine, the readers were asked to choose the greatest technological innovation of the past ten years.

More than a third voted for Wireless Internet.

SKY+, the personal video recorders (PVR) by Sky, at the second place, has emerged as the best known and best loved PVR.

“It really has given power to the consumer to allow them to watch what they want when they want,” the Telegraph quoted Fevzi Turkalp, who runs the Gadget Detective website, as saying.

Sat Nav, provided in almost every car now, stood at the third place, while energy-efficient Hybrid Cars have marked fourth place in the list.

Apple’s iPod has taken the fifth place in the list.

Simon Osborne-Walker, the publisher of Stuff magazine, said that he was confident readers had managed to sum up the best of the last decade.

“It’s been an amazing ten years for technology. Gadgets have gone from being big black boxes under the television to lightweight, portable devices,” he said.

Stuff’s list of the best technological innovation of last decade:

1. Wireless Internet – 35.5 percent

2. Sky+ – 16.9 percent

3. Sat Nav – 16.6 percent

4. Hybrid Cars – 8.9 percent

5. iPod – 5.6 percent

6. Chip and Pin – 5.6 percent

7. Nintendo Wii – 3.9 percent

8. Skype – 1.7 percent

9. Oyster Card – 1.5 percent

10. Blackberry – 1.1 percent

Other – 2.6 percent

Hackers who steal data or manipulate large number of computers may be jailed for up to seven years, according to a proposed amendment to the Chinese Criminal Law.

The penalties will also be applicable to those who offer software or tools for hacking to any intruder.

The existing law offers punishment only for intruding into networks of governments, national defence or leading science sectors; or altering the functions of personal computer systems.

However, the amended law will be the first legal tool to curb increasing data theft from civil-use computers in China.

According to Zhou Guangquan, a member of the NPC’s law committee and a professor in criminal law at Tsinghua University, the proposed penalties also apply to Chinese hackers, who steal information from foreign computers.

The proposed draft states that either the crime or its consequence occurs in China, it shall be subject to Chinese law, reports the China Daily.

“Even if the crime has nothing to do with China, but the criminal is a Chinese citizen, it also falls under the law’s jurisdiction,” Zhou said.

Li Shishi, deputy director of the NPC law committee, said that the latest changes were made at the request of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).

“The ministry said many unscrupulous people have been found hacking computers to steal account numbers and passwords, or to remotely control them,” he said.

“These actions are a big threat to online security, and we consider it necessary to define them as crimes,” he added.

You must know gunas of each rashi & planets. e.g. if lagan rashi is mesh u’ll know that this person has high resistance & fighting power. While a capricorn ‘ll fall on bed immidiately in 99 temperature a mesh ‘ll keep on working in 100 degree.
2.Position of planets, how many are happy & how many are krodhit.how many planets are uchch & how many are neech. How many r in char/ sthir rashies. More planets in char rashi means the person is flexible & likes travelling. while sthir rashi means he is very stiff.

StudentThe principle of learning, which is generally, applicable in learning process, is defined in other terms as law of learning. There are three methods discovered by Psychologist in Education this is already been tested and used in practical situation effective and can provide additional insight of individuals who pursue and acquire knowledge by learning. This is Readiness, Exercise, and Effect; Edward Thorndike developed this method early part of the twentieth century, and latter there are three additional principle have been added this are Primacy and Recency, and Intensity. These principles are widely applied in many other fields.

Teacher

* Readiness this refers to ones single mindedness eagerness to learn something, a reason to seek and know. Basically this method implies in good physical, mental and emotional condition learning is an active process and learner must have adequate in rest, health and physical ability. Learners must have a clear objective strong purpose and definite reason to learn, this can make more progress and achieve his aspiration.
* Exercise this refers to drills and practices learners must have an activity, which is more effective in doing repeatedly the more repetition the better the learner remembered, a task that be done in a meaningful positive feedback, practice make a learner perfect. Every time practice occurs, learning continues. These include student recall, review and summary, and manual drill and physical applications. All of these serve to create learning habits.
* Effect this refers to the emotion of learner’s reaction of the result of achieving his aspiration. This may done in pleasant or satisfying feelings, the learner will strive to continue doing what provides a pleasant effect to continue learning. Positive reinforcement is more apt to lead to success and motivate the learner, every learning experience should contain elements that leave the learner with some good feelings. A chance of success is definitely increased if the learning experience is a pleasant one.

Every learning experience does not have to be entirely successful, nor does the learner’s have to master each lesson completely. However one of the important obligations of the instructor is to set up the learning situation in such a manner that each trainee will be able to see evidence of progress and achieve some degree of success. Instructor must be equipped polished in such a case that he can manage and organized a lesson plan. Mostly a postgraduate in other terms postgrado instructor is qualified or needed to this learning’s.

Underlining the need for changing the image of the “ugly Indian politician”, senior BJP leader L K Advani on Tuesday said one way of making this possible was by encouraging more young people to join politics.

“I tell my fellow politicians, particularly those belonging to my own party, that it is our duty to erase this image of the ‘ugly Indian politician’….it is necessary for the best and the brightest among the youth to join politics and serve the nation,” Advani said.

He was speaking at a seminar on “National Values Crisis and its Redressal” organised by the Foundation for Restoration of National Values.

The 81-year-old leader cited Transparency International’s annual reports where India ranks high in the corruption index and the United Nations report in which India ranks low in the Human Development Index. He held responsible the lack of professionalism among politicians as the reason for this state of affairs.

“Politics was a noble profession during the freedom Movement…After Independence, the spirit of mission got gradually diluted…Unfortunately, in India today politics is seen neither as a mission nor as a profession, but as pure commerce,” Advani lamented.

However, the senior leader pointed out that it was not just in politics that the values had gone down. “The lack of integrity and professional ethics is seen among lawyers, judges, doctors…. and even security personnel. It is seen even in the media,” Advani said.

BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate said though the intelligence quotient of an individual could develop lifelong, his emotional, moral and spiritual quotient developed mostly between the age of 15 and 25 years.

“It is necessary for the young to join politics and serve the nation,” he said.

I’ve been writing this blog for about three months now, and I’ve learned a few things about the blogging profession. (I was inspired to write this post after seeing that Wired has now officially claimed that blogs are passé and I should be Twittering and Facebooking more.) Here’s what I have found.

1. The Internet moves in mysterious ways. I don’t claim to understand it and I don’t think anyone else does, not even the most well-paid SEO experts. When I posted once about Google Chrome, there was a flood of visitors here — I think because it showed up on Google News. But I have had other posts appear on Google News for long periods, even as the title story, and they have not become popular. My guess is that, when Google Chrome debuted, people were just clicking on any reports: is the browser any good, does this mean Microsoft and Mozilla are worried, is it fast? They probably downloaded Chrome and tested it, but they wanted to see what the blogosphere thought of it. There was a similar reaction to iTunes 8 and most recently the T-Mobile G1. However, there are no patterns to any of this. Is it all about being first? Not really — I posted about iTunes long after it came out. Is it about reputation, as Wired suggests, and only the well-funded blog magazines with multiple staff writers break stories? That doesn’t seem right either, because sometimes the guy who breaks a story has a Blogger account, lives in Iowa with his parents, and just happened to find an obscure patent for some new gadget. I think you have to write well, post about an interesting topic, and then hope for the best in an unpredictable realm.

2. Digg matters, but I haven’t decided how much yet. Digg can make or break your blogging career, but it all seems so random. One of the reasons: I have no idea why one story gets almost 1800 diggs and another gets 0. Sometimes they can be the exact same story. I know that there are influential diggers, and you have to build up a friend list, but let’s be honest: how can you predict that a blog post for a guy who built a Lamborghini in his basement would get well over 3000 diggs? Is it because people have searched for the word “Lamborghini” and it is more distinct than the phrase “sports car” — or is it because people just suddenly cared about building cars in your basement today? There is no rhyme or reason to it. Yet, if you are not active on Digg, your posts will never catch on fire.

3. I’m not sure if quality matters. I think really bad writing matters — people are not interested in a blog that is lame, and lame blogs are easy to spot. But, as my editor has noted, there is a lot of really amazing content on the Internet. A well-crafted blog post, as Wired suggests, can get easily lost. If quality doesn’t lead to traffic, because we’re all inundated with so many RSS feeds all day, and if being first doesn’t matter, then I have to wonder what does. I think it is luck. Writing a blog at the right time on the right topic, and somehow getting the attention of Google News and Digg — that’s what matters.

4. Posting multiple times per day is not the answer. I used to think that the more you posted, the more people think you have an active blog and will return. I’ve read this in blogging how-to articles and books, and I’ve been told this before. When I used to run a music blog, I tested the theory and it proved somewhat accurate back in the early 00s. It turns out that, with so many blogs, multiple postings don’t seem to matter as much anymore. Each post enters the public registry as a self-contained entity and either flies its way to high traffic or dies a sudden death. People will re-visit blogs, but mass attention often comes to those who craft one worthwhile post. Another way to say that is, one post can attract several hundred thousand visitors, some of whom will bookmark the blog (most won’t these days), but the days of getting attention for a personal blog by posting a lot seem to be over.

5. You have to blog about what people want to read about. Despite the utter complexity of the Web, there are patterns and some predictability to the buzz. I am amazed by Digg Labs, which shows what people are digging. It’s fun to just get all of their tools running in tabs and see what people are attracted to. Today, it has something to do with Faith Hill in a swimsuit. A few days ago, Web users were drawn to the presidential debates. I also regularly visit Google Trends Hot Topics, Yahoo Buzz, Techmeme, and Technorati to see what people are blogging about. Some of the Google Trends Hot Topics are really interesting and reveal what people are into these days — it’s a cultural thermostat that changes every few hours, and there’s no telling who or what will end up in the top ten. The temptation is to write about your passions — what you care about. Fine, but it turns out that no one will read it.

6. Just make a list. Okay, if you are new to blogging, this is the best tip of all. I don’t know why they attract attention, but they always do. Top 49 most influential men, 7 Wii tricks, 25 Tweaks for your Firefox Status Bar are all climbing up the Digg charts. Of the 50 Diggs at the Swarm site (which shows what people are digging in real-time), half of them are lists. I think it is our nature to accumulate lists of things, to make us feel smart, and to maybe one-up our co-workers and friends. “I know these Wii tricks and you don’t so that makes me better.” I think lists will finally stop attracting the most attention someday, once everything in the universe has been listed.

So, what have you learned about blogging? Post your list (ahem) in comments.

It is told quite freverently many a times , that free market system is the best. I can’t question that but thanks to many scholars and teachers especially the founding father of Economics Adam Smith for his book Wealth of Nations , which I didn’t completely read. Any fool or stupid understand the following few statements and most likely accepts it as a universal truth.

The supply and demand equation. One need not be a master of Economics to know what it is . It goes like , in ‘free’ markets (not sure about the use of word free) if the demand for a good increases more then the increase of supply, the price of the good increases. Simple isn’t it. End of few statements.

The growth of population in a country like India has been more then exponential. Thanks to our simple ways of living. Not only population , but the people who work as book keepers for other countries real productive work also increased more then exponentially. A bad news and good news to the country as a whole , but a real good news for restaurants , hotels and all people associated with food , becasuse the demand is increasing at a rapid rate. Even if there are ***** star hotels all over the country , in the end they all have to buy from the farmer.

This farmer guy is quite a funny person. He/She exmplefies what one should not strive for in thier life and that is hard work. Being politically correct or gender correct all the time doesn’t look right all the time right! . After all , only men can claim to have committed suicide when they couldn’t feed their families. Let me be more specific, the major major part of the dead bodies in villages that have been floating around since the time we have started becoming rich(thanks to our economic liberalisation of our dear FM turned PM) belong to MEN. Iam quite proud of it and confused.

There is no reason for being proud but there is reason for being confused. The second paragraph of my blog is in contradiction with the third and the fourth and yet both of them are true. I cannot question the wisdom of Adam Smith and the geniouses that have come along after him and at the same time I cannot question the overwhelming empirical evidence. This is not a quantum world for two contradictory things to happen with a probability greate then zero. If the demand for food is increasing rapidly then supply, the price of the commodity increases and who should be the richest guy? Adam Smith says , “the Farmer”. I told you already that the famer is a funny guy. He dies in poverty without collecting his cheque from Mr Smith.

I can’t blame it on the Corporations, which are generally the cause of much of misery for the people who don’t know farming and more of fickle-minded happiness. Our dear Government takes care of the farmer, to the extent that a beggar in a metro at a four road junction earns more then the farmer. How do I prove it? I see the same beggar day after day, but some farmers are generally missing everytime I try to recount.

A citizen of free India is being reduced to take the free doles ,which the Government regularly plans for their well being. There is no more stupidity then giving more credit and free power. The real solution is to show the market where he can freely sell . Whether farmers need free power or not is the question. Why can’t they pay their bills when they are doing such an honourable job second only to soldiers who protect the country? That is why it is said ‘Jai Jawan ,Jai Kisan’ and not ‘Jai Indira Gandhi , Jai Rajiv Gandhi, Jai Feroze Gandhi,Jai Sonia Gandhi’ . All these Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers are actually far more worthless then the farmer who goes out and toils in the hot sun to provide food for all of us and in the process making his living.

This obvious overflow of emotion in a rather funny story was quite uncalled for , and I will revert to the man. The man is Ratan Tata. If there is any corporation which I like to an extent, it is Tata. The man got everything in his life but not a wife , which is actually good. Atleast there won’t be any sons or daughter heirs to the apparent throne of TATA.Wherever there is no discrimination based on birth , I respect it and where ever there is undue advantage based on birth I wish i could neutralise it. He like ,many of us believes the 1lakh car is more important then the farming land.

Iam a simple neighbour hood guy who likes simple rules like Einstein and Adam smith. So here is the law , ‘necessity should be satisfied first and comfort or luxury should not be at the cost of necessity’. A simpe question? Car, food identify the necessary good among the two and apply the above law.

The farmer dude , was the champion not long ago in 1970’s I guess. The Government of India was finally able to bring laws like the removal of right to property, such they could take the land from the big zamindars, who got the land from the kings, who don’t know why they gave it to zamindars , and I don’t know why there are kings. The zamindars , or nizams and other people until then behaved as if God has asked them to run as fast as they can and come back and take all the land they covered to and fro. Farmers got the land and there was a revolution of sorts with little bit of modern education applied to farming(Green revolution) and India never had the problem of Food , though it’s citizens were hungry. It is inscribed in the Constitution that distribution of wealth is one of the duties or the directive principles of the states. So it worked, until the farmers were told one fine morning that since zamindars lost their right to property and it no where says only zamindars have lost the right, it applies to all citizens so now farmers also lost the right and should be prepared to give their land for the ‘common good’ or else declare themselves as aliens and go and live with Stephen Spielberg.

I don’t know whose personal selfishness is farming but it seems that industrialists work for ‘more common good’ and that the farmer has to give up his land and start enrolling their families and himself in the National Rural Employment Gaurantee scheme , work as daily labourers to build the SEZ’s and factories within, on their land and once everything is built he is not allowed to enter since he doesn’t wear the computer processed identification tag around his neck, which were mostly worn by dogs to identify themseleves in previous generations.

Yes one more point, while working to build the factory for common good. Sonia Gandhi is proud that rural Employment Gaurantee scheme is a sucess. Farmers got Employment , hence money. Industries are being built hence money. Workers are geting jobs hence money and Supreme Court is able to identify what is common good and what is not and hence money for them too. The farmers earnings makes him poorer and more dependent on Soniaji day after day, while the rest of the world zooms around thanks to the farmer turned labourer. It is all stupid economics.
