The rumour came to surface Tuesday morning, after Rahul jumped out of the “Bigg Boss” house along with the other existing participants – Raja Chaudhary, Zulfi Syed and Ashutosh Kaushik. It was shown on Monday’s episode.

The four men requested “Bigg Boss” organisers to send them a pre-cooked or ready-to-eat meal. When their request wasn’t met, they protested by escaping from the “Bigg Boss” house.

The prime rule of the ‘Bigg Boss’ house is that no contestant can leave the house and the four contestants broke that rule. They protested when just six days before the grand finale where the winner will get prize money of Rs.10 million.

According to television reports, while the others apologised for breaking the rule, Rahul said that he won’t say sorry because he wasn’t guilty for what he did. As a result he was asked to leave the show.

As of now, the channel is not ready to confirm or deny the news. A spokesperson of Endemol India, the production house of the reality show, said that an official press statement would be released later in the day.

Former participant Monica Bedi, who was evicted out of the show last week, told IANS: “I believe Rahul has been evicted, but I am not 100 percent sure as I have only heard it from the media. I have not yet been told by the production house or any reliable source.”

Monica, who shared a close relationship with Rahul on the show, conjectured that the four men might have jumped off the wall due to mental pressure and lack of food.

“Rahul had lost almost eight kilograms till I was there. It is very tough to stay there without food. So I am sure they tried to flee to get something to eat. Otherwise, Rahul is such a patient person,” she said.

It has been more than three months now since these men were locked inside the “Bigg Boss” house under 24-hour camera surveillance.

Everyone is curious to know what is Aamir Khan’s new film Ghajini all about. Since the star has decided to keep mum on the issue, we decided to dig into Aamir’s blog to figure out.

To begin with, the film is a Hindi remake of director Murgadoss’s Tamil film Ghajini.

“Now am not sure if the film will be called Ghajini in Hindi. It’s a film that I saw and really liked it. It’s a very well made film. It’s a film that’s very moving and exciting at the same time,” says Aamir.

But it’s no secret that Ghajini was itself a remake of the successful American film Memento. And that question has now been asked to the oh-so-virtuous actor on the blog that he’s been writing lately.

Aamir’s reply: Murugadoss had heard about a film called Memento and the concept had really fascinated him. Without having seen the film he went ahead and wrote his own version of the script and screenplay. Having finished his script he then saw Memento, found it very different from what he had written, and went ahead and made Ghajini.

Question on the blog: Well then, the idea is copied. Isn’t it?

Aamir’s reply: In my opinion this is a genuine case of ‘inspired from’, and nothing beyond that. Murugadoss has written a completely different and original screenplay and he should get the due credit for his work.

Question on the blog: Shouldn’t some acknowledgment be made to the fact that Ghajini is inspired from Memento then?

Aamir’s reply: I did not like Memento. Why Memento did not work for me is that it left me confused. By the end of the film I had no idea who had killed the hero’s wife? Had she been killed at all? Had he killed his own wife? Did he finally get the guy who killed his wife? Was he still searching? Did he have a wife at all?

Well, it’s a pity that Aamir couldn’t understand Memento because millions did and enjoyed it immensely.

As for saying Murgadoss didn’t watch Memento before he wrote Ghajini, who is Aamir fooling? Or is he also going to say that his cousin and director Mansoor Khan didn’t watch Kramer vs Kramer before writing Akele Hum Akele Tum?

‘Rahul is not my boyfriend, he is my friend,’ Payal told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

In August, Rahul, son of the late Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former union minister Pramod Mahajan, formally parted from his wife Shweta after a Gurgaon court passed a decree on their mutual divorce petition. His closeness with Payal was an alleged reason for the break-up.

But Payal, who was evicted from the reality show Friday, maintains that ‘Rahul is only a good friend’.

Viewers were witness to their intimacy on ‘Bigg Boss’ when they were assigned the task of playing volleyball in a swimming pool.

Commenting upon their physical proximity on the show, she said: ‘The pool was six feet deep and I’m only five feet six inches tall. I needed someone to shift me around and hold me in the pool. I was more comfortable with Rahul because I know him. We have partied and have had dinners together.

‘I couldn’t let others like Debojit (Saha), Ashutosh (Kaushik) and Raja (Chaudhary) come as close. After all they are men,’ she said.

Payal was criticised by her inmates for her closeness to Rahul, her cat fights with item girl Sambhavna Seth, wearing a bikini on the show and constantly wearing make-up.

Sambhavna alleged that Payal is ‘fake’ and that she used to backstab people on the show.

But Payal denies her allegations saying: ‘I was very neutral. I was not there to make friends for life. I just wanted to be cordial and nice to people so that we could live together in peace. So there is no question of having backstabbed anyone. It would have been so had I nominated Rahul, who is a good friend,’ Payal said.

As far as being called ‘fake’ is concerned, she said: ‘I was there to gain visibility for the benefit of my career. If I dabbed on make-up to look good on the show, why are people complaining?

‘She (Sambhavna) has said that I used to wake up at six in the morning to touch up and then used to sleep again. But then why was this footage not shown? It would have made for a juicy shot. ‘Bigg Boss’ was not a house, it was a house-like situation and being an actor, I had to take care of the way I looked on screen,’ Payal said.

After coming out of the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, the actress says she is dying to pamper herself with ‘a manicure, pedicure and a good massage’ to rejuvenate herself mentally and physically.

‘I am very happy to be back in the real world. I was there to gain visibility and show the other side of personality and I have been successful in doing that. People had only seen the glamorous side of Payal Rohtagi, but now they know that I even cry,’ said Payal who is now looking forward to getting some ‘lead roles in good films’.

Payal was seen in films ‘Dhol’ and ‘Corporate’. In Madhur Bhandarkar’s critically acclaimed ‘Corporate’, she danced to the popular item song ‘O Sikander’.

The episode begins with the wake up alarm Nagada Nagada Nagada Baja from the movie Jab We Met.

Payal brings chai for Rahul and Rahul asks her why did she make separate chai for him…To that effect raja tells him that she has added zeher in the chai so it was made separately. Monika asks Rahul to be nice to Payal and that it’s not fair on his part. Rahul says there is nothing between Payal and him and they are just good friends.Then they both argue and Rahul leaves.

Back to this ‘young’ wave in Bollywood, 40 and hot is suddenly so last year! Exception may be Akshay Kumar, but this Friday we will find out how hot is the Khiladi, grey streak and all. (Ooh! By the way, did you catch this episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi, where Akshay blindfolds a very flustered Pooja Bedi and guides her hand to various parts of his body? “Guess which part of my body this is”, he challenges Bedi who ‘boasts’ of being a “touch-feely person”. Gosh! You should have seen this kinky sequence with the aging Bedi trying hard to stop giggling and Akshay, poker-faced, guiding her hand from his ears to lower and lower….! Prime time television may just have done a somersault.)

Forty-something Salman, making a fool of himself, scaring his hot girlfriend away is so not cool. That guy loves to mess things up for himself, royally. Shah Rukh Khan’s dismal TV ratings may just be an indication of his weakening grip on the box-office as well. Once again, Billoo Barber may prove us otherwise. And Saif these days seems to be more interested in policing his hot girlfriend than wooing female fans.

This season has been about young blood. About fresh new faces, sounds and ideas. And Farhan Akhtar’s Rock On with 40-something rockers but with a youthful, vibrant soundtrack would an interesting film to watch. Maybe the ‘men’ will again rule the ‘boys!’

How do you feel making your debut opposite Himesh Reshammiya?

I’m very excited because I’ve finally become an actress! My dream is coming true! Working with Himesh was good fun. He’s co-operative, helpful and in spite of being such a big star, he didn’t make me feel like a newcomer.

What are your expectations from Karzzzz?

A lot of people have a lot of expectations from Karzzzz…I think it’s gonna rock!

What made you decide to become an actress?

I was born and brought up in the film industry, my family is part of Bollywood. I’ve been attracted to the glam world since childhood!

Do you follow any diet regime?

Not at all, I eat all types of food…especially junk food! I can eat anything and not really be affected…I’m blessed that way!

Are you comfortable wearing a bikini on screen?

Ha ha, it was a covered bikini…I mean, it wasn’t very revealing!

Your father Indra Kumar is a big name in Bollywood. Why didn’t he launch you?

Oh, he was going to (launch me)…but then he was busy with Dhamaal. Finding a proper script and story for me would take some time, and all of a sudden Karzzz happened. People had anyway got the news that Indra Kumar was planning to launch his daughter, and that’s how everybody found out I’m doing Karzzzz. I think Karzzzz is the perfect launchpad for me.

What kind of movies do you want to do?

Action-packed dhamaal-masti, I want to do Bollywood masala films!
