While studying charts, one must study
1. Lagan-chart- called D-1.
2.Moon-& sun-Kundali.
3.Navansh chart-D-9.
4.Relative other sub-charts.
5.Dasha-lord chart & dasha position..

First thing to note while looking at chart is to see
1.Lagan-Rashi & moon rashi. This will give you a picture of personality of the jatak. You must know gunas of each rashi & planets. e.g. if lagan rashi is mesh u’ll know that this person has high resistance & fighting power. While a capricorn ‘ll fall on bed immidiately in 99 temperature a mesh ‘ll keep on working in 100 degree.
2.Position of planets, how many are happy & how many are krodhit.how many planets are uchch & how many are neech.How many r in char/ sthir rashies. More planets in char rashi means the person is flexible & likes travelling. while sthir rashi means he is very stiff.

vayu (air) = 3,7,11, wise, studious,
Jal (water) = 4,8,12, intelligent, emotional
