The A,B,C and D of relationships
A and B have a relationship.
C likes A
C does not like B
B does not like C
B and C cannot get along
D likes A
D does not like B
B does not like D
B and D cannot get along
In a living together setup the fact that C and D do not like B disturbs A.
A and B get hurt.
A and B do not like each other
This C and D can represent people or other forms of disturbed behavior, physcial deformity, mental problems, pschological problems, bad habits like women, drinking, smoking something that drives the other to the edge.
In the end no matter what relationship, it should be about 2 people and the overall health that they can maintain between their relationship and not anyone else.
While living together so much negativity is bound to cause problems and friction between 2 people.
in such cases whoever is the more powerful party wins. the other party feels like thrust in a sack, and hung by a boulder and dumped into the sea from a boat.
My imagery is getting a bit wild here but I was remembering the Count of Monte Cristo scene where dead people are thrown into the sea with a sack and a boulder is tied to their feet so they get dumped right at the bottom of the sea.
For a better picture the Count carried a knife, so he cut the sack, cut off the string tied to the boulder, headed to the surface, then headed out to the island to get his buried treasure. Unfortunately real life isn’t that way.
i have come to a conclusion that two people, any two people don’t really have that much of a problem. It’s the outside influences especially the negative influences that can cause harm to any relationship, be it friendship, marriage or something else.
It’s not possible to dissolve all possible impacts but negative impacts between any two people, especially those that harm one should be kept to a minimum.
All this talk of being sensible.:(
