Friends, this is subtle translation of Hindi – poem Shanik- already posted earlier – reflection of the orignial one – near to subject but lacks the similarity of words …....

star of dawn,
though momentary,

its existence only paves way

for morning with golden rays
blessed soul – bestowed with grace

have no regrets for the life so short

quality not the quantity what is sought,
spontaniety is name entirety is the game
dwell in intensity and passion

time spent with is eternal n divine
moments reside within with smile
mere a reflection or omnipresent fragnance

dew droplet or sheer rejoice

music of emotion or pure adorance
though momentary

let me remain only a morning star of dawn


कुछ पल ही सही

बन कर में उनकी परछाईं रही

में भोर का तारा ही सही,

मिला उनका साथ कुछ पल ही सही,

उनकी आँखों में समाँ गया हूँ मै नज़ारा वही,

उनकी याद में बसा मै इक सितारा ही सही,

पल दो पल उनके दामन में सिमटी रही,

कोई शिकायत मुझको है नही,

हर पल की जी भर कर जिया

हर क्षण को अमृत सा पिया

देखे जींवन मे रंग कई,

जीवन की शुरुआत उनके संग ही हुई,
कुछ पल ही सही

रही उनके जीवन में मेरी परछाई,

भोर के बाद ही सुबह की किरण आई,
साथ अपने मै उनका दिल ले आई,

उनके जीवन में बेशक कुछ पल हूँ रही,

रहती है उनकी नजर ढूंडती पल पल मुझको ही,

सुनती हूँ खामोश सदाँ हर पल मैं उनके दिल की,

मैं भोर का तारा ही सही,

पलक झपकते ही खो गयी,

जीवन में …….कुछ पल ही रही.
