YOUR LIFE SHOULD BECOME SADHANA, an acrostic poem
In a world where many people spend all their time in pursuit of material wealth, who spends their time pursuing spiritual wealth?

“Live a life filled with prayer, meditation, and service.”

YOUR LIFE
SHOULD BECOME SADHANA
by Harry Kottler
Your life should become sadhana.
Our time on earth is short.
Use your time discriminatingly.
Realize what this life is for.
Living is not just for sense pleasures.
It is a time to get to know the Lord.
Forget mistakes you think you’ve made.
Embrace sadhana and move forward.
Sadhana is spiritual practices pursued daily.
Homes can become ashrams when this work is done.
Our minds and hearts need to be purified completely.
Useless is a life lived on the run.
Live a life filled with meditation, prayer, and service.
Decide from glory you’ve been spun.
Be a person who never falters.
Embrace your practices each day.
Care for sadhana more than outer glory.
Observe your mind and what it has to say.
Meditate with resolution.
Embrace God’s power when you pray.
Sadhana is not done by most folks.
A life without it does not fully utilize life’s span.
Decide that you will do it always.
Have a special lifetime plan;
A plan to know,
Not simply shun, God,
A plan for truth to gain command.
…….
With love and respect,
Harry and Helen
