HARYANA ROADWAYS : THE INDIAN A380 SAGA

Consider this: A big traffic jam… Your bus is face to face with a kilometer long traffic jam… All other bused namely Rajasthan roadways and Delhi roadways buses were showing a civilized behavior of defeat to the traffic ahead and returned back to their origin station and didn’t dream of standing the havoc, there was supposed to be a huge accident ahead where a truck had literally broken down… Then poor sweet little Aram had just opened his eyes and is confronted with the nightmare: that a buckless pocket and visionless future of the day, coz I knew no-one in Haryana, then as a messiah, the driver announced, sab yatri uttar jao (All passengers get down) and asked us to cross the divider, then consider what. HE ACCELERATED TO THE FULL SPEED AND CROSSED THE DIVIDER
, I EXPECTED THE BUS TO TURN OVER, BUT AS ALWAYS HARYANA ROADWAYS TRIUMPHS… IT WAS THE SAME FEELING WHICH ENGINEERS AT AIRBUS MUST HAVE FELT TO SEE A380 FLY… HARYANA ROADWAYS FLIES ACROSS THE DIVIDER…. Then we drove in the wrong way direction and with the police officer passing a smile
we knew our risk was justified, then the driver, with the legendary Haryana Roadways unbeatable speed made us reach Delhi…. Half of the souls reading this will curse Haryan Roadways for their road rash, but we inside the bus were literally thanking the driver for saving us all the creepy problems we would face by not reaching Delhi today… vvvvvvvvvvoiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllaaaaaaaaaa
Last December I had to go to Jalandhar for some work and then go to golden temple in Amritsar. So I decided to leave Delhi at 11pm, and guess what, the route which normally takes 7 to 9 hours was covered in just 4 hours, and believe me, I saw 9 accidents of overturned vehicles on the road-side, all being tractors and trucks, but the precise deadly accuracy of the death-brush driving of Haryana Roadways bus made us reach Jalandhar at 3am, which came as a bonus as I finished reading “The kite runner” in the bus terminal, waiting for morning to came and I could do my work… But however rash they drive, however evil they may seem, BUT I HAVE SEEN THAT THESE ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE “TIME IS GOLD” AND VALUE TIME
BUT THEY MUST BE DESPISING “BETTER LATE THAN NEVER”
So are you bored of monotonous life? Want a change? Take a Haryana Roadways bus and hit a destination in Haryana or Punjab from Delhi… I promise you will hug your sweet child or parents when you return, and would have secretly enjoyed the evil ride…..
