Blog Launch Formula
There’s a lot of talk here about how long it takes to launch a blog. Having just launched my blog for my new tell a friend application, I thought it would be useful to share the exact steps that I have taken, along with my time estimate of how long each step should take.
It is important to note here that after completing my keyword research with Micro Niche Finder, I quickly ascertained that the ‘ tell a friend ‘ market had been well picked over by other Internet Marketers, so I have no great hopes of generating any decent traffic through the search engines.
This blog needs another strategy entirely.
Given the fact that the ‘ refer a friend ‘ market is so competitive (Micro Niche Finder highlighted quickly that there was not enough searches for the amount of competition) I am surprised that only 3% of online retailers have a tell a friend application installed. To be honest, that is why I designed tellafriendzy in the first place, as my initial assessment of the market showed that ALL of the current applications had flaws in them and didn’t do what they were supposed to do, namely generate frenzied word of mouth and viral marketing traffic. The ultimate aim of tellafriendzy is to create an unstoppable stream of traffic to ANY web-site (please see site for more details). Anyway, as you can see, considering it was only launched last week, traffic has started to grow quite nicely (for a brand new domain that is in pre-launch).
I am also pleased with the number of mentions in Google and as of this morning, there are 155 mentions of Tellafriendzy in Google:
Results 1 – 10 of about 155 for tellafriendzy
